In an exhilarating educational trip, 45 enthusiastic Year 10 pupils from Â鶹ŮÀÉ, along with 5 dedicated members of staff, recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure to the vibrant city of Barcelona. The three-day, three-night excursion was filled with excitement, exploration, and cultural enrichment, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved
The trip aimed to provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history, art, and culture of Barcelona, and it certainly delivered on that promise.
One of the first stops on the itinerary was Parc MonTjuic, a historic park with significant ties to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. The pupils were captivated by the monumental structures and lush greenery, understanding the importance of the park in the city's sporting history.
The architectural wonders of Barcelona were a highlight of the trip, and the students were awestruck as they visited iconic landmarks such as Casa Batllo and La Sagrada Familia. Gazing at the intricate details and ingenious designs of Antoni Gaudí, they gained a newfound appreciation for the beauty of art and architecture.
The group also explored the vibrant Maremagnum shopping centre and sea port, where they experienced a fusion of modernity and tradition, savouring the coastal atmosphere and the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

A stroll along the bustling and iconic Las Ramblas street provided the pupils with an excellent opportunity to soak in the lively atmosphere of the city, witnessing street performers, vendors, and locals going about their day.
